DONATION

GIVING: Is an act and willingness to present or deliver something in exchange of something, vice versa. God commanded us to give in order to receive bountifully.

In Luke 21:1-4: Jesus gave us this illustration to enable us know the essentiality in giving and the attitude we put on when giving is very paramount for God loves a cheerful giver 2nd Corinthians 9:7.

WHO WE GIVE:

1) GOD: God commanded us to bring offerings with willingness of heart Exodus 252; Exodus 36:5; and Proverbs 3:9.
2) Clergy: We need to willingly give to the Shepherds or any workers in the vineyard of God in order to receive undiluted seal to your prayers 2nd Samuel 8:10; 1st Kings 17:7-14; Acts 4:33-35.
3) Needy: We should give to the less privilege Deuteronomy 15:7-11; Leviticus 25:35; and Proverbs 28:27.

WHY WE GIVE:

We give in order to be free from devourer and cankerworms, Malachi 3:11. We should give because God might send his angels to visit at any time in disguise of a beggar or a sojourner, Genesis 18:1-14.

HOW WE GIVE:

We need to give willingly not grudgingly, for God loves a cheerful giver 2nd Corinthians 9:7; Mathew 6:1-4; 2nd Corinthians 8:3.

BENEFIT: Give and it will be given to you Luke 6:38; Deuteronomy 30:9.

WHAT TO GIVE:


1) Tithe:  Ten percent of the earnings. Genesis 14:20; 2nd Chronicles 31:5; Malachi 3:10; Leviticus 27 Vs 30.
2) Thanks-Offering:  1st Chronicles16vs29
3) Money:  Mark 12:41; Acts 4:37; Ecclesiastes 10:19.
4) Time: 1st Samuel 1:4; Esther9:27; Hosea10:12; John7:6
5) Strength:  Psalm68:35.
6) Worship:  1st Chronicles16:29; Psalm29:2; Psalm95:6; Matthew 4:10; Revelation 22:9.

Giving is very paramount in the life of all Christians because it is the only means of financial breakthrough and license to receiving riches from God 2nd Corinthians 8:9-12.

In spite of these, avenue is opened to all cheerful giver to donate towards the propagation of the word of God and the Diocese is in-need of your spiritual, moral and financial support. As you do it, the good Lord will replenish your pocket in Jesus Name.
